Residential Support Worker

Summer Substitute, Årsta Gård

Are you trained in care and support or currently studying in such a program? Do you want to work with something meaningful and create wonderful summer memories for children, youth, and adults with intellectual disabilities?

Gain valuable experience for your future career with us – in a picturesque oasis “in the city”, with a rich history. We are now strengthening our team with more residential support workers for summer substitutes.

Årsta Gård is located on the outskirts of Årsta in southern Stockholm. The facility offers adapted primary and secondary education for students with intellectual disabilities and has a Waldorf pedagogical focus. There are also accommodations, short-term care, daily activities, and leisure activities – according to LSS.

Here, life flourishes; this is a guiding star at Årsta Gård. Every day we see how the right interventions make a difference, and the work is based on our values: community, safety, and development. Through practical teaching, a clear rhythm, and supportive communication, we provide each student the opportunity to develop based on their individual circumstances.

As a residential support worker, you play an important role for the students living in our children's or short-term accommodations.

Your Responsibilities
